Cancellation Policy

At Glamour Loft Hair Studio, we understand that plans change. We've designed our cancellation policy to be fair to both our guests and our stylists, whose time is dedicated to providing you with an exceptional experience. Please read through the terms below before booking.
1. General Cancellation & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us enough time to offer the slot to another guest on our waitlist. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
2. Late Cancellations
A late cancellation is any cancellation or rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. In these cases, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the scheduled service price to the payment method on file. This fee compensates our stylists for the lost time and opportunity.
If you have not provided a payment method, the fee will be added to your account and must be paid before your next appointment can be booked.
3. No-Shows
A no-show occurs when a guest misses their appointment without any prior communication. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service price. After a second no-show, we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure future bookings.
We understand emergencies happen. If you miss an appointment due to an unforeseen emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll work with you on a case-by-case basis.
4. Late Arrivals
We always strive to start on time out of respect for every guest's schedule. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment to avoid delaying other guests. If your service must be rescheduled due to lateness, the late cancellation fee may apply.
5. Bridal & Large Group Bookings
For bridal trials, day-of wedding styling, and group bookings (3 or more people), we require a 48-hour cancellation notice. A deposit may be required to secure these appointments, and the deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within the 48-hour window. We'll communicate any special terms at the time of booking.
6. Refunds & Service Adjustments
We stand behind our work. If you are unsatisfied with a service, please let us know within 7 days of your appointment. We'll work with you to understand your concerns and, if appropriate, offer a complimentary adjustment with the same stylist. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Retail products may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase if unopened and in original condition, with a receipt. Opened products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
7. How to Cancel or Reschedule
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment in any of the following ways:

- Visit the salon in person at 7428 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles
If you reach us outside of business hours, your message timestamp will be used to determine whether the cancellation was within the required notice period.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continuing to book appointments after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
